Behind the Place Garibaldi, in front of the D'Angely University, you will find the dodgy but colorful warehouse collective Les Diables Bleux. Set up by a group of independent artists, this collective has been struggling with the city council to provide Nice inhabitants with cultural events that involve everybody. And the result is impressive: free reggae, acid jazz or experimental music gigs every Thursday night, a collective breakfast every Sunday morning, exhibitions and screenings of local films during the rest of the week.
